Warnell GIS Facilities
Members of the Warnell community have access to a vast amounty of GIS resources:
- - Access to over 80 computers in 4 labs with ArcGIS 9x, ArcView 3.2, ERDAS Imagine 9x, Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office, and Google Earth installed
- - 15 Trimble GeoXM, 12 GeoExplorer 3, and numerous Garmin ETrex and Magellan GPS units ready for field use
- - The state-wide GIFF GIS data repository contains various political boundaries, detailed road and stream networks, multiple years of aerial photography, satellite imagery, and land cover data that are ready to be used in your project
- - Color laser printers, large-format plotter and scanner, gigabit connections in the GIS lab and a WIFI access anywhere on campus
